Frequently asked questions

Common questions about Dante Reports Exporter, exporting Dante Labs reports, and keeping a personal genomic archive.

What is Dante Reports Exporter?

Dante Reports Exporter is an independent Chrome extension that helps you save a personal backup of your genomic reports from genome.dantelabs.com. It downloads PDF copies of each condition report and bundles them into a ZIP file on your computer.

Is this affiliated with Dante Labs?

No. Dante Reports Exporter is an independent tool built by a third party. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Dante Labs. It works with reports you can already access in your browser while logged in to your account.

Where do my reports go during export?

Nowhere except your computer. The extension downloads Dante's official PDFs using your logged-in session, bundles them locally, and saves one ZIP to your Downloads folder. No report data is uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud storage.

How many reports can I export for free?

The free tier allows up to 50 reports per backup run. If you have a larger library, Dante Reports Exporter Pro removes that limit so you can export your entire account in one session.

Do I need to stay logged in during the export?

Yes. The extension uses your existing browser session on genome.dantelabs.com. If your session expires mid-export, log back in and run the export again.

What format are the exported files?

Each report is saved as a PDF. All PDFs are bundled into a single timestamped ZIP file in your Downloads folder, organized by report category.

Can I use the exported PDFs with ChatGPT or other AI tools?

Yes. PDF is the standard format for uploading genomic reports to AI assistants. See our guide on analyzing Dante Labs reports with ChatGPT for more detail.

Why should I keep offline copies of my reports?

Online portals can change, accounts can lapse, and companies can restructure. An offline PDF archive ensures you always have access to your genomic data regardless of what happens to the website.

The export stopped or some PDFs are blank. What should I do?

Refresh genome.dantelabs.com/conditions, confirm you are still logged in, and try again. See our troubleshooting guide for common export problems.

Doesn't Dante Labs already let me download PDFs?

Yes. Each condition report on genome.dantelabs.com has a Download PDF button. Dante Reports Exporter is for when you want your whole library at once: it collects every condition, downloads the same official PDFs, and packs them into one ZIP instead of repeating that click 100+ times.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome on desktop (Windows, macOS, or Linux). The extension runs as a Chrome side panel on genome.dantelabs.com. Other Chromium-based browsers may work but are not officially supported.

Is this a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time purchase for a lifetime license on one browser installation. The free tier has no time limit, only a per-backup report cap.

Can I request a refund?

See our refund policy for full terms. Refunds are generally not available after a license has been activated.
